We all run tight budgets and having kids can make it especially difficult to save when eating out or getting delivery.

So what’s a swamped parent to do when it’s time to feed the family? We’ve hopefully eased some of that burden for you with this comprehensive list of restaurants where kids eat free.

As you go through this list of restaurant promotions, bear in mind that chains change policies all the time. Not only that, but at times, offers are only limited to some locations for a limited time. It’s best to call ahead to make sure they’re offering kids specials at the chain near you.

Kids eat free everyday

Applebee’s – this promotion isn’t always available, but is worth checking: Applebee’s will let kids eat free when an adult purchases a qualifying full price entree.

McAlister’s Deli – You can get a free kids meal with 500 rewards points using your McAlister’s rewards.

IHOP – Depending on the location, kids eat free at IHOP when you buy one adult meal. Available from 4pm to 10pm everyday for a limited time. Not valid with any other discounts or coupons. Dine-in only. You can also get free pancakes when you join MyIHOP

Smashburger – Historically, Smashburger has offered a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal on certain locations and after 4pm. The promotion is currently not online, but call and inquire about it if you’re planning on dining in.
